FAQ
What Are Wimbledon Debenture Tickets?
Wimbledon Debenture Tickets are issued on a 5 year License and are sold to private individuals or companies.Â
By purchasing a Wimbledon Debenture Ticket on a 5 year license, the owner receives tickets to all 14 days of the tournament each year for 5 years.Â
They also have the right to resell their tickets for a profit.Â
When you purchase a Debenture Ticket for a single day of the tournament you become a ‘Debenture Holder’ for the day. This gives you access to the Debenture Holders Entrance and all of the Debenture Holder Bar’s and Restaurants.Â
Which Matches Can I Watch?
Centre Court Debenture Tickets provide you will access to all matches on the Centre Court for the day that you have purchased. You will also have access to all of the other courts with the exception of No.1 Court and Court 2.
No. 1 Court Debenture Tickets provide you with access to all marches on No.1 Court for the day that you have purchased. You will also have access to all other courts with the exception of Centre Court and Court 2.Â
What Time Does Play Start / End?
On the outside courts at Wimbledon, play begins at 11am (subject to weather conditions)
Play begins on No.1 Court at 1pm and play begins on Centre Court at 1.30pm
Play is allowed to continue on Centre Court and No.1 Court until 11pm. During the first week of the tournament play often runs until at least 9.30pm.
What Happens if it Rains?
Historically, rain has been a major concern for the organisers of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships, however with the addition of a sliding roof on Centre Court and the No.1 Court the weather is no longer a major issue.
Centre Court and No.1 Court Debenture Holders are therefore guaranteed to see a full day of tennis.
What If I Need to Cancel?
All purchased are non-refundable, however you will always have the option to resell your ticket, either via Tailormade Wimbledon Debenture Tickets or of your own accord.Â
Because all Wimbledon Debenture Tickets are now transferred electronically via the Wimbledon App, tickets can be transferred at any time including on the day of play.Â
Where Will My Seats Be Located?
Debenture Tickets are located in the best locations around the Centre Court and No.1 Court. The specific Block, Row and Seat Numbers are not allocated until May each year, however you are able to request your preferred location, or pay an additional fee for specific location or row numbers.Â
Where Can I Eat & Drink?
Unlike the general public, as a Debenture Ticket Holder you will have access to a dedicated range of bars and restaurants within the stadium complex.
Some Debenture Holder Restaurants require reservations and provide you with a reserved table for the day whilst others operate on a first come, first served basis with a queuing system.Â
Why Can I Only Choose An Even Number of Tickets?
Because Debenture Tickets are sold on a five year license for over £100,000 per ticket, the majority of Debenture Owners only purchase 2 tickets. This means that groups of 3 or more Debenture Tickets are harder to find and therefore command a premium price.
